Cursor

Use any RouterPlex model inside Cursor.

Cursor can route its chat models through RouterPlex via the OpenAI key override.

  1. Open Cursor Settings → Models → API Keys.
  2. Paste your RouterPlex key into the OpenAI API Key field.
  3. Enable Override OpenAI Base URL and set it to:

  1. Click Add model and enter a model ID from the catalog verbatim — e.g. claude-opus-4-8 or gpt-5.5.
  2. Enable only your custom models, then pick them from the model dropdown in chat.

Tip: create a dedicated key with a budget for Cursor, so editor usage is capped and shows up separately in your logs.
